On Friday 3 September 2010 the Proteas Cricket Team was 'treated' to a Trail Run in the Goukama Nature Reserve organized by the brother team Mark and John Collins of Magnetic South. The Team was divided in groups and had to use a gps and map to find waypoints along the way while facing some serious sand, long uphills and the odd snake threat.

In the interviews Graham Smith, Mark Boucher, Jacques Kallis and many of the other players said that Trail Running is one of the most exciting and challenging forms of getting that body and mind in shape.
